Give your shoppers the option to pay with Zip in-store with our point-of-sale QR Code API.

This tutorial helps you integrate Zip QR Code Checkout on your In-Store POS.

The Zip API is a RESTful, stateless API that makes it easy for merchants to integrate with zipMoney's services.

Customers will have the ability to choose to pay with zip on your payment terminals or POS.
They will login to their zip digital wallet on their phone, click on 'scan QR' on their app/camera and then scans the QR code that is displayed on your POS/Terminal to finalise their purchase.

What do I need to get started?

Sandbox Access

Please contact your Zip integration engineer to request sandbox access to interact with this API.

As of now, you can begin your Zip integration development based on the API specifications that are provided.

Next, you will want to have a look at the zip POS integration flows to get familiar with the interactions between the customer, your POS and zip during a transaction.

For access to sandbox, you will first need to request for a merchant sandbox account.
