Install and configure the Zip plugin (North America)

Important Note:

This version of the plugin is only supported in North America. If you are looking to use Zip in other regions, please install this version

Plugin Installation (Marketplace)

You must install the Zip payments plugin from the Woocommerce plugin marketplace and activate it to begin accepting Zip payments at your checkout

1. In the left-hand menu, navigate to Plugins > Add New.

2. In the search box at the top-right of the screen, search for Zip North America.

3. Click Install now.

4. Once the plugin has been installed, click Activate*.

Plugin Installation (Manual Upload)

If you need to manually install plugins to your Wordpress, you can follow the steps below to install Zip North America

1. Locate the Zip North America Gateway for WooCommerce plugin here.

2. Login to the WordPress Admin Dashboard and go to Plugins

3. Click on Add New

4. Click on Upload Plugin

5. Click on Browse and find the location of where you downloaded the plugin. Select the zipped plugin file, and click on Install Now

6. After successful installation, click on Activate Plugin.

7. Go back to the Dashboard and select Plugins. Zip Gateway for WooCommerce plugin now appears in the list of plugins. To configure, click on Settings.

Plugin Configuration

1. Check Enable Zip.

2. Copy and paste in the Client ID and Client Secret provided in the Zip Merchant Portal > Settings** tab. (Take care not to add any additional spaces or characters to these fields).

3. To display the Zip widget on the Product Page and the Cart Page, check both Enable Product Page Widget and Enable Cart Page Widget.

4. Test mode should be set to Production.

5. Click Save changes.

These attributes can be set in WooCommerce Admin by choosing WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Zip - Pay in 4 installments. Be sure to scroll to the Widget Customization section.
